memory timings advice

Hi mate, tried your earlier settings, not much diff. TBH, worked a bit on 2630MHz got them tighter, but didn't have long to test. At that speed, read, copy and write were nearly the same as my tunned 2.4 but latency was lower. How you getting on??

Working on getting this stable at the moment, kept failing Prime blend after about 1.5hrs so see if this cracks it... Upped the VTT slightly... Tried the DRAM voltage up to 1.7v but still wouldn't pass, so don't think it was lack of voltage to the RAM???

Hard to tell whilst trying to extract the best out of all the components at the same time but what's the point in having high frequency RAM if the CPU has to suffer...

What settings & timings are you running to get 260Mhz running as still unsure why my board won't let me boot at the next multiplier frequency?

To get 2.6 i just have my cpu OC set to 45, and leave everything else on auto, voltages, timings etc, boot into windows run cputweaker where i then input those timings into the bios. Then i change command rate to 1 and leaving CL as is. Then i just change seetings on the fly using cpu tweaker.
When my voltages are on auto in the bios it shows me the actual volts that are being applied so then i'm just inputting those numbers manually.
Off the top off my head the main ones are:-
Dram 1.675v
IO 1.255v

Edit. And like you adding more dram volts dosn't seam to do much, in fact anything over 1.69 gives me errors when running OCCT

edit, this is the base settings from auto

progress........
yep my pc works!!!!
come to the conclusion although i can run higher my sticks like there rated speed but tighter(a bit) at the end of the day 2.4GHz is not too be sniffed at, they are at the end of the day 1600 just overclocked in the first place, so i'm on about the same as you, and doing a bit of gaming and in a couple of days time when i get bored of that i'll have another crack.
what i want.....
24/7 profile and then a benching profile for which i'll crank up the fans and add a scythe GT 5400 blowing over the memory and MB vrm's and i'll see what happens!! ;)
