Men's shirts

I quite like Savoy Taylor Guild recently (i believe part of Moss Bros, although they have their own shop in Manchester)

Otherwise its TM Lewin for me.

Next usually, quite up to date and decent.

Did buy some from TM Lewin and Hawes. The quality is certainly better but 90% of them are cufflink shirts, and for day to day stuff I find this a pain.

Are their tailored shirts slimmer/longer than TM's "Tailored" range (the actual slim fit range, just more expensive for less material...).

Not sure, didn't try their tailored shirts (ordered online), but found the shirt a touch too thin for the price so didn't bother trying again.

They aren't actually tailored shirts. just slimmer than their slim fit (which just aren't slim!). For some reason however, despite being the same material the cut means they are more expensive.

For when I bother to suit up for work, Primark. They are not bad for the price.

(I last wore a shirt for work 2 years ago so things may have changed)

Last shirt I got from http://www.itailor.co.uk/ and am extremely happy with it, for the price I don't think I'll go back to off the shelf, why bother. Could do with getting measured professionally though, I got the arms a 1/2" short.
Would be nice if they had a slightly bigger range of both fabrics and choices though.

I've bought shirts from Joseph Turner. I think they are the best shirts I've ever bought, certainly better than bespoke shirts I used to have made in Hong Kong. They have different sleeve lengths. The tails on the shirts are longer than average and suit me because they don't keep riding up.

They have a sale on at the moment, where you can enter a code number to get an additional 10% off too!

4 formal shirts for £90 at that quality can't be bad! I was happy with my purchase and I certainly paid more than £90 when they weren't in the sales.

They also have formal shirts but I've stuck to the country checks

Nice to see other people who are fans of Charles Tyrwhit. I've yet to find shirts with the same quality anywhere else, but then again I was always used to putting up with mediocrity when I was a big bugger!

Debenhams. Used to be into TM Lewin, but find that the quality has gone down and the fit is quite old fashioned and boxy.

Brooks brothers. Swear by them.
Have saville row and charles tyrwitt, found them both poor. They are better (slightly!) than Next and most high street brands but they wear poorly, never take a decent iron, even with added starch.
Trying to find a decent supply of brooks now, there is only a small selection on Amazon.
Next idea is to send a brooks bro shirt to my father's tailor (i know he does good work) and get him to copy it :)
