Metal Gear Solid. The Phantom pain.

I purchased the game from a seller on the net, key is fine.

Go to the nvidia site to redeem it. asks me to link my Steam profile which is sign in and click "allow" then it just takes me back to this page in a constant loop.

I've tried in Chrome and IE, any ideas? This is really ******* me off now.
 
Ok I managed to do it on my phone and it went through, but I just checked my email for the code and it says this:

"Game could not be redeem please contact support" where the code is supposed to be?

It also says at the top It will be in your steam library momentarily but it hasn't appeared there either!!!

Now I can't use the code to try and redeem it again as it's already been redeemed. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh this is driving me mad.
 
Nvidia isn't helping me either

So I will have to get a refund from the seller, but he isn't playing ball and said because "I've redeemed it" he can't refund.. I haven't redemeed it as it said "game could not be redeemed" looks like I'll have to start a dispute, I should win shouldn't I as I don't have the game! and nothing on the listing said anything about it being from nvidia/free with a graphics card!! This is why I don't use eBay! ahh

I'm not sure if it will be covered. If he was selling the card and posted it to you, you'd certainly be fine. However I know ebay/paypal can be really fussy about 'digital goods' and any other non physical items. :(
 
Ask him for a copy of the receipt ?

Edit:

In fact ask anyone for a copy of their receipt I don't think they are linked to specific codes.

I may be wrong but ebay dont cover digital purchases i think you may be out of luck.
 
I asked him for a copy of reciept he said he hasn't got it as he got 4 GTX 970'x from a supplier and they "emailed" him the codes.

Anyway he supplied me with another code and it worked, but I had to setup a new Steam account which I really didn't want to do as all my friends are on my normal account, but hey it works so not all is lost.

P.S THE GAME IS FANTASTIC! absolutely loving it so far.
 
Met Quiet for the first time and had the dual, the cut scenes after were immense! had a huge smile on my face.

I absolutely love this game, yes some bits are repetitive, but the huge amount of work gone into this is unreal. I've been a fan of the franchise ever since it's birth.

I can't wait for MGO in January either.
 
Getting well into it now, having difficulties killing the skulls though - think I'm just being retarded. Absolutely love Quiet, just wish I didn't have to tell her to kill every time

You can get her to 'cover you' and she willl shoot anyone around you, you may have to raise your bond with her first though.

Just completed chapter 1 after nearly 40 hours of play, really enjoyed that time but the repeat missions of chapter 2 are putting me off a bit. I think I might be done... but Im fine with that.

Skulls are tough I found when you first meet them. Weapons you get later on as you progress make mince meat of them though.

Just set quiet to cover me and she pretty much demolishes everything in sight.
