Metro: Exodus [E3 2017]

I really hope this doesn't get E3'd, last two were great games even if on rails. I think that xbox preview vid guy is getting his hopes up though, don't think it will end up looking anything like that.
 
I don't think it'll be downgraded, That said, it may have the draw distance lowered but not the other visuals. When they compare it to the Redux 2033 in the video you can see where the visual upgrades have been done but it also shows just how good the engine is because the originals still look like top notch games.
Since losing the Stalker franchise Metro's been the closest thing to it for me and the idea that they're expanding some map's to give us a more open environment is music too my ears.
 
I loved the first two...the undergorund sections felt scarey and really claustrophobic.
 
Wow, looks better and better. I wish it was coming out soon, this would be great to play over christmas :(.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by 'blatant offline render'.

I love the Metro games, it's the atmosphere that draws me in and the way the game plays, and i still need to play Last Light just haven't got around to actually playing it and now i need to, but i'll play the Redux versions of 2033 and Last Light this time round.
