Is it wrong?
I know a lot of people who would have bought the PS3 without thinking many years ago, but after Sony offering less than the opposition in terms of software and delaying its major releases (that most people bought the console for) really doesn't do them favours.
Peoples patience in Sony is waining.
Actually I've been thinking about this, and actually I do think your wrong, you've made quite a bold statement, one that shouldn't be let off lightly, in one foul sweep you have stated that peoples patience in Sony is waining, wheres your proof in that ?, because looking around the net statistics tell me otherwise, even after the sales decrease on the 360 which was quite a large drop still the PS3 has out sold the 360 every week since in Europe,
Also check out the NPD numbers for for JAN/FEB the PS3 out sold the 360, even in marches NPD numbers the sales are pretty much matched, is this people losing patience in Sony ?, also don't forget the PS2 had a slow start, but then even saying that the PS3 out sold the PS2 compared to its sales figures in its first year, look around the net, many high profile websites and even developers are calling 2008 "The year of the ps3" just type it into google yourself,
So I ask you again, is this people losing patience in Sony, no ?, your wrong, clearly that isn't the case, all I see is Sony gaining ground and popularity tbh, now I'm not trying to say the PS3 is going to beat the 360, in all honestly I don't care about that, I've said from the beginning there is no reason why both consoles can't co-exist in the market place, what I am interested in though is seeing where the PS3 is heading obviously, not only because it is my console of choice atm but because it never does anyone any good when the competition starts to stagnate, so whether you own a PS3 or 360 you always want them to both have a good market share so we as the consumers reap the benefits from that.
Now if I look around a few forums, yeah, it's really not hard to find the same minority shouting louder than everyone else because MGS on-line has been delayed, or a game or two has been set back, but on the street that really isn't on the case, not for the majority anyway, sales figures alone are reflecting this, the problem is many of us on here are quite knowledgeable and we also know people with similar mindsets as ours so when we all have a similar opinion we often end up mistaking that as the general public consensus, often it is not.
