Microsoft Flight Sim X demo

eta 39 hours :P

Ill leave it on overnight, maybe the load will lighten on the servers and the download will kick into action.

Please upload to Gamershell soon 12kb/s not fun. :(

Will give this a go not played a flight sim in yonks not really my thing but will give it a try. :)

downloading from Gamershell.com. Steady 80KB/s from there UK server, 2 hour ETA, off to sleep, night all :) going to enjoy all the screenies of this tomorrow.

Its times liek this i really wish this so called 8mb line will run faster than 240kbs. I swear TalkTalk have just stuck us on a standard 2mb line and not told us.

Just loading up the download now, and it's going at 800kb/s from Gamershell.
[EDIT:]Or I would be, had my router not just dropped my connection :/

I'm not much of a flight sim player, but I noticed it had St Maarten airport, and I just got back from there a week or so ago.

Some of you might recognise the airport as being the one in this picture (linked for those you with miniscule monitors :p)

Call it what you want, but I've seen that happen with my own eyes.

The runway is short, so the larger planes have to fly in very low so they can use all of it.
There are even large signs either side of the road there, saying "Warning: Jet blast may cause serious physical injury or death"

Although, that beach is no longer there, I believe most of it was washed away in the '04 hurricane season, right now, there's barely any sand, and quite a few rocks.
