Im running Conroe E6400, 2GB DDR2 PC6400 800Mhz And Radion X1900Gt 256mb everything standard and FSX set to Medium high. I know its not the fastest but it aint the slowest, guess theres not a lot i can do about it though

So does this automatically configure your joystick for you or so i have to fanny about with like 100 controls working out which ones to set etc, i have the Saitek Cyborg EVO USB

nope you gotta mess about with it. Seems like each plane effects the FPS in its own way, mines was dooing good with the CRJ then i switched to the baron 58 and they took a hit for somereason

Well there nothing special with this new version it seems from the final demo i've been playing around with today, took a few screen shoots.

All the pictures are in ultra high settings apart from the jet screen shots which was on the next settings down.

It was very playable for me in ultra high settings, it did stutter slightly when in airports, but was'nt to bad, im surprised as i've only got a XFX 7800 GTX 490/1300 extreme + AMD Winny @ 2.4 and 1 GB ram hehe.

I don't understand how it can be very playable for you. I know someone with SLI GTX cards/FX62/2gb ram and he says it runs awful at ultra high.

Does this game run poor on just ATI cards maybe? everybody on here who says it runs like a dog seems to be using ATI cards??
It does look gash tbh, but i get bored in flight sims lol

LOL, just did a mission, missed the first time and banged up both engines the 2nd, and it said mission complete! Co-Pilot said "Good one".

Yea, right, aircrafts a wright off :p

Mine arrived today but haven't installed it.

BIZARRELY I noticed a big difference in visuals AND performance when I re-installed my graphics drivers AFTER installing the demo ...

not on one machine either ...

before it was almost as if it was running in a pseudo software emulation mode - AA didn't seem to work well etc.

Mark.
