Microsoft Flight Simulator X

bit of a quick query, i want to do a bit of 'spotting' and have seen pictures and videos of peoples viewpoints being sat in the air or at the end of a runway, how do i move the camera around freely in the environment to do this?

You can either try "Active Camera" but that costs money, or you could just use "Slew" (press Y) and position yourself where you want to spot, switch to non-3d cockpit and turn it off along with the dials and Bobs your Aunties live in lover.

been playing over last week or so ...

and have to say ... FS2004 with decent addons gives FSX a run for its money ...

I have a decent system ... but to get nice smooth frame rates in FSX is a challenge.

FS2004 - ok scenery not quite as good -but when you can have a full airport populated with AI aircraft .. which don't turn black after 1 mile (like they seem to in FSX) .. and are running at 60fps @ 1900x1200 with 4xAA .. does make you think !

In terms of what you're writing, what does

mean?

It means the screens are there if your interested in FS Acceleration, but if you were going to go over there expecting something really special from the screen then you may be disappointed. Thought that was a standard expression that most people would understand.
