Very slow... Do they only download when the console is on and the game running? That seems to be the case but is gonna take an age if I can't leave it on overnight.

I'm getting 0.1 Mbit/s at the moment for the world updates in content manager 1gb down 28gb to go.

Hopefully the speeds are better tomorrow. I enjoyed the quick flights I had earlier around London & Everest.

Edit: occasional bursts up to 150Mbit now

Just turn off the tv and leave the console on overnight ?

That's what I've done but not ideal. Think it goes into power save after 4 hours so probably won't finish but will make a dent.

Did so and woke up to a message that marketplace session has expired, looks like I only got about another gig overnight. This is gonna suck.

Watched my brother on this (albeit via facetime) and it looked stunning. I'm tempted to pick a Series X up just for this but I do want to get a stick, keyboard/mouse etc..

Are Xbox's hard to come by just like the PS5?

I think there is more demand for PS5 but Series X is still selling out at this point.

If you sign up on the usual stock alert sites you'll have a good chance of getting one, I've heard of more people having success on Discord as it's pretty much instant.

Just make sure the site's you're tracking like Argos, Amazon etc. have up to date card details etc. saved so if you get a ping you can jump in immediately and nab one.

Edit: and yeah it's a stunning looking game.

Considering I know people who have spent £2k+ on their PC and their game looks pretty much the same as my £450 console...it's worth every penny. Looks spectacular on a large OLED.

Yep; I gave up getting a new PC due to component shortage / price hikes. Bagged a Series X a few weeks back, stacked the xbox gold live / gamepass blag with an eye on FS dropping momentarily (yesterday). Combined with the LG CX; this and other games look fantastic and for the first time I'm rocking an MS console alongside an PS5!

I failed at the first hurdle, how do you navigate the World Map screen? I couldn't get a cursor up and failed to find how to select the departure field

If you go in to controllers what image do you see for the Xbox controller? Mine seems to be a 360 controller not the one I got with the X with the extra screenshot button.

click down on right stick for the cursor.

Mines around 15-20mbps

I purchased the premium edition of the game and have that add on installed but the deluxe version says I don’t own it so don’t seem to have the airports and aircraft from that version.
