**** Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Thread ****

Working out how much my desktop is worth + my current laptop (that I might get 100 for if I'm lucky haha)

Skipped the Pro 3 and have been happy with my Pro 2, Would be nice to get some more juice for video editing in Vegas but depends how well the 4th gen cpus compare to the 2nd gen ones I guess.

In no rush to get it, but if it turns out to be a monster then il slap the cash down.

Are you waiting or ordering another?

Pre ordered a Teal Keyboard. Going to order the new dock as well. Upgrades my SP3 if I decide to keep it.

Undecided on the Pro 4 I think I will pre order one and see what early USA reviews have to say about battery life and fan noise.

If fan noise and throttling have improved over the 3 I'll keep the order.

Going to have to be the i7 16GB 256GB.

Preordered the i5 8GB version. Would have liked the i7 version for the Iris graphics but the HD 520 should be enough for me.

I was considering the dock but the price was just too much :p. I'll stick with my compact Anker USB hub.

Fan noise will be the decider for me. Looking at the core m3 version. Could end up buying the i5 version if its not noisy as hell.

I am tempted but the i5.

I want to know though what the exact model of the CPU is. What's with the lack of information in the specs? i5 and i7.. How about a model number?

The i7 must be either:

i7-6560U or i7-6650U

Based on the i5 having Intel® HD Graphics 520

Puts it to either:

i5-6200U or i5-6300U

Based on the TDP of 15W and the type of Graphics mentioned.
