Also installed the update and rebooted but can't find the option to never combine folders?

I posted a solution 3 posts ago :D

I had the same - if you've already installed the update, you then need to tick "Get the latest updates as soon as they're available" (assuming you have this unticked, then check for updates twice - you should then be offered the "Windows Configuration Update"

Weird how they're different widths:

Notepad is the wrong size until something is opened to the right of it:
edit: or until it's clicked / moved

I tried it, then turned StartAllBack back on :D, between that and the lack of a small height option for the Taskbar it's still a no deal for me.

Tabbed Explorer is still useless (can't drag tabs out into a separate window, or even between windows)

Copilot is just a generic ChatGPT webpage.

Video here shows improvements to Windows explorer and being able to drag tabs between windows

5 mins 30 shows it

nothing so far has made me want to turn off Explorer Patcher though so it will remain running lol

Hasn't windows 11 always had rar extraction?

Not that I'm aware of. I had a rar file I needed to unzip as it were, didn't want to install winrar after having a clean new system so searched for an alternative. That's when I learned that windows has rar support after an update which I hadn't yet installed. After I did install the update the rar extraction worked as it should.

Not the solution. This doesn't work for me and looks like it doesn't for others either.

Yet I have Windows Configuration Update (KB5030509) and KB5030310 and rebooted a number of times along with toggling "Get updates as soon as they are available".

Nothing works despite all of this.

What features are you missing? As some like the Paint Layers option aren't available unless you are on the Dev channel, despite having both the update and configuration update installed

Give me a sec I think I know what's wrong.

EDIT: Nope can't get co-pilot despite trying each channel with full updates.

I've broke it. Went to the Dev channel and still no co-pilot. Now I can't go back from Dev channel without a format. :D

EDIT2: I think I know why. I'm on Windows 11 Pro. Not sure if stuff has been enabled for this as of yet.

Can any of you confirm if you are on Home / Pro / Enterprise Windows 11?

You can download Windows 11 23H2 Preview ISO from the following URL but doesn't include Pro.

Just booted up my pc this morning and the "never combine" taskbar buttons is now available but it takes up more space than I remember in Windows 10. Will try it out for a week and see how I get on.

Any tips on creating a power plan that sits between power saver and balanced for cpu usage?

Its for a desktop that is on all the time but on balanced it consumes more power than I'd like while on power saver it uses half the energy but limits performance a bit too much. A middle ground between the two would be perfect.

I don't see many options for performance in the advanced plan settings
