Windows 10 22H2 and Windows 11 22H2 are not affected so that is very good news with new secure boot DBX update to protected it from nasty BlackLotus malware.

It listed Windows 8.1, Windows 10 1507 to 21H2, Windows Server 2012 to 2022/21H2 and Windows 11 21H2.

It not good and actually very bad idea to run old Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10, 11 and Server versions when hackers created malware and ransomware to targets people who refused to updated Windows or blocked Windows Update with third party software.

The way MS approaches security there is probably some uglies even in XXH2 being actively exploited. That said if on 10/11 you want to be on at least Jan's security patches as there are some nasties actively being exploited in versions of 10/11 before that including a remote code execution vulnerability. (EDIT: Already a bunch of privilege escalation vulnerabilities in 22H2 have come to light).

If MS did their job properly people wouldn't have to block updates, etc.

Slowed down from 120fps recording to 60fps - The slickness of 11's min/max animations are very pleasing to the eyes.

The longstanding SMB file copy issue was finally meant to be fixed in February's KB5022913; "This update addresses an issue that affects copying from a network to a local drive. Copying is slower than expected for some users."

But it is back as a known issue in March's KB5023706. :(

It's a slowed down recording, it's nowhere near that "slow" in reality, it's faster than animations on Android when they're set to 0.5x. the point of the clip was to show how smooth and fluid it is vs in the past versions where there existed some micro stuttering.

Good for you, tell me more about how these problems don't effect you. ;)
Being snarky for the sake of it??! I was just staying that the issue isn't widespread like how comments on forums would have you believe.

Yes there are some configs that have issues, but that's the case with everything anyway, oh as well as the SMB copy issue, but again that's not something that affects everyone as only a small minority use SMB, myself included.

Latest Windows 11 22H2 Patch Tuesday (Moment 2) may be slowing down SSDs, boot times - Neowin

This past week, Microsoft released Patch Tuesday updates as it was the second Tuesday of the month. It was also with this cumulative update that Moment 2 got pushed to all users; and according to some users' feedback, the update may be slowing down SSDs or other boot drives. On a Reddit thread, a user "mesp21" says their NVMe SSD speeds were more than halved, going from the rated 7,000MB/s down to as low as 3,000MB/s. The issue seemed to get fixed when they reverted back.
