Midweek Football 27-28th October *Spoilers*

Twas one footed, hit the ball clearly but carried it onto the lads shin.

Quite a high leg due to the balls bounce, should have withdrawn his leg after hitting the ball.

 Hardly he got the ball ?

Kept his foot high after the tackle, studs in the air too..

'Got the ball' sure but doesnt make a tackle like that just :p

*gets ball, lamps the lad in the face*

"BUT I GOT THE BALL!"

Is anyone else finding the Barnsley - Utd game quite a boring game. If Barnsley actually got some shots of target and pressed utd a bit more they should be winning this game.

Comfortable win tonight despite being a man down for the last 30 mins. Obertan looked pretty good, comfortable on the ball and some good turns of pace. Both goals were well taken and Anderson had quite a good game from midfield. Wish we'd seen more of Tosic when we were still attacking, his effort that curled just wide was really good.

Not a great game, and the "second" team have the same problems as the first, No driving force in midfield, Anderson is an attacking player, although he still puts a shift in at the defensive role, the team just needs a knucklehead to break play up, get the ball down and passed out to someone else.

Owen scored a fantastic goal, anderson made some good paces, obertan looked very confident on the ball he must have been knackered considering the lack of footie he has had. Tosic has really good balance and it was a shame we went down to 10 men so didnt see that much of him.

Foster's save was class, however every game he ***** at least once with his kicking or running around his area like a headless chicken, cut the mental instability out of his game and yeah he may make it at United.

Barnsely were rubbish.

One thing about Ben Foster, he's a really quite brilliant shot stopper.

Pity about his positioning/crosses/kicking eh. :p
