As for the Adebayor thing, how good he'd be for Barca would depend entirely on how he gets set up there. If he goes over, realises he's no longer a big fish in the team, and knuckles down to establish himself, he'd probably be excellent - back to his early-seasons ball-chasing, defending-harassing best. If however, as is probably more likely, it just inflates his ego with the idea that he's "made it", he'll be as lazy and wasteful as he can be at the moment.

I'm surprised Ronny is playing again after 120mins at the weekend. Seems like we haven't rested him for ages.
It means he probably won't be featuring in the F.A cup this weekend, giving him a weeks rest until the Inter Milan game at Old Trafford. I don't expect him to last the full 90 minutes though.

with Anal Smith playing we will be playing a 4-5-1 with him supporting Oba if and when, Oba is hardly THE targetman, and having to play Ryan Taylor in midfield isn't going to help

Boro so need to beat the tired legged spurs this evening, especially if Newcastle win ( I hope they get something out of it as i don't want to see any NE teams relegated)and especially as stoke are winning
