Midweek Football Thread *spoilers*

On the bright side De Laet looked pretty competent at Right back and centre back, put that together with an excellent performance at left back a few weeks ago and he is looking like a decent bargain buy!

Far byond "bargain" - it was only a few hundred k wasnt it, daylight robbery if you ask me hahaha (for once it was in Utd's favour).

It was performance related payments iirc :D
 
Bit annoyed about this FA rule about having to field your strongest team, managers should be able to pick whatever XI they like, it is their head on the chopping block, not some bigwig at the FA.

I can appreciate that fans who have travelled to watch their team away may be disappointed but the day the FA starts picking the teams is the day I'll give up watching football.

Totally agree, since when did the FA decide who plays for which team. It must suck for the travelling fans but they can't have expected that much against Man Utd anyway
