Not sure if it is this as I had a creeper explode next to me in the fort this morning and the server was fine. Has there been any mods added or modified since this morning?

Creeper mod is not on the server I removed it last night as it does not work.
The servers error is running out of memory & it could one of two things....

1) The BB mod as this has been setup today
2) The Fly mod that some players use to fly in the server it has been used tonight (I banned this last time as the server was crashing when it was used)
3) Mine carts as they are been used & tested more & more on the server.
4) TNT the server logs with the BB logs show that this crashed the server last time, but as I had put the TNT nerf mod back on before the 2nd crash it can not have been TNT the 2nd time.

I will send a ticket to the host about it anyway.

The mod I use to do the /protect command has been updated with so useful new tools....

Area-specific inventories :
- Anyone who enters will have an area-bound inventory. The 'oustide' inventories are returned upon leaving the area, and the inventory is kept in memory until next visit.
- This is toggle-able independently by area, or globally via the config file.
- /!\ Beta feature ! There are several issues that still need to be fixed. Sometimes, the last-held-item (when entering) will be duplicated when the inventory is returned. I don't know yet where that comes from. Also, I didn't have enough time to prevent people from dropping their items into an area, then getting it back by walking on them.

Sanctuary area : Mobs can not spawn in a sanctuary. They can still walk inside, but will then be unable to deal damage.

No creeper-explosions : You can prevent creepers from exploding withing certain areas

PvP switch : If the defender is in a no-PvP area, the attack will be denied. By default, PvP is allowed everywhere.

Healing area : Any player that enters a healing area will get a health regen until he is at full health or leaves the area. The power and the delay between heals can be changed in the config file.

sigh... played singleplayer for 3 odd days and got quite a lot of stuff... then i was collecting obsidan next to lava and .....dead :( now i cant find my house!

dumb respawn

I'll get rid of my fly mod mate. Andy you should too. :D

Does area-bound inventory stuff work regardless of how you leave the area? for example does it only work when walking into/out of an area, or does teleporting/respawning correctly set off the mod into returning the correct items? I ask because we could set up a PvP arena, where inside you are only allowed a set of simple iron or stone items and the ground could be made out of sand so you can destroy an opponents cover and such... and even if you die, you will just respawn and if this gives you back all your day to day items, which would be great. At least that would allow the odd bit of intentional PvP, and even make some interesting team vs mobs battles if we add in a mob spawner behind an easily breakable wall when we want to get to it.

A combined fighting/spleef area is next on my list for the fort once the roof of the warehouse is finished.

simpler way is just to have two (or more) chests for them to put their stuff in before the match.

If it's possible for gars to spawn individual mob spawners I'd try an make a set of rooms with water slopes to and doors wired to levers so specific mobs could be sent into the area (or under the spleef floor) if not a large dark room spawning in random mobs instead (the lining of the area will be obsidian so creeper dmg isn't an issue).

If the person cheats and takes diamond in then well the lava could be activated and burn everything in the area :D

At the moment it's said to be buggy , later I will set up a test area to test it out

With the spleef area I can spawn bedrock to line it with nothing can destory that stuff.

How about healling zones ?

This would be so useful for my home/safehouse...
