Seriously, I don't know what all the angst is for when A) The Yogs lot haven't had time to put their version forwards and B) 99% of us weren't there and haven't ever met either side. Let Notch, Simon and Lewis talk it over and tell the public their (full) version of events, then take sides.

Thankfully i rarely watch the Yogscast anyway; Kurt, Zekkyou, Lorgon111, Hank, 'Nanners (Toby goes without saying) and occasionally AntVenom and X are enough for me. Hmm... it occurs that i probably enjoy watching other people play Minecraft more than i do playing it myself

This started off when Simon and Lewis had an F-bomb in their videos, which Mojang/IGN did not give them the equipment to edit out. They said that it was unfair they were criticized over this then Notch brings this out and Minecraft Chick said something nasty too. No, people don't get upset for no reason, but sometimes the reason is as pathetic as a disagreement sometimes.
They swear all the time, but what Notch said after is what's caused all the debate I believe, I think people were annoyed with him for telling them off for entertaining the crowd using their entertainment style but when Notch reacts like this when they say it's a bit unfair, this is the end result.They've never done anything like that before? And yeah, they do appear to get on really well which makes me think that Notch was lying, as you don't get on well with someone, before suddenly remembering the horrible things they did to you only moments prior, and Notch was acting really inappropriately in that video which makes him a bit of a hypocrite.

There is no evidence of this happening, the only witness being Notch himself apparently and the kid who hasn't yet come forward to the public on this outrageous event.
Yet there are loads of videos of the yogscast signing things and being polite and cheerful etc with Notch signings on as well.
Don't you find that weird at all?

Spite? They criticized him for criticizing him and stating that his masturbation jokes in their video was inappropriate so he gets annoyed and lies about/exaggerates/takes out of context something they said?

He is also a self confessed troll, and has often gotten angry out of criticisms (Example: X's suggestions to minecraft, Notch responds by calling him a jerk.) I doubt that this is so far beyond him.

Yogscast are making money off software Mojang created why should Notch pay them.
It wouldn't, as Notch is an internet celebrity and millionaire, and will have more supporters than the Yogscast, lying is something Notch has done quite a few times, I seem to recall, it never had a negative effect on him. And Lejosh, if you were asked to fly to Las Vegas, find accommodation in one of the most famous hotel/casino locations on earth, for seven/eight people, and not get paid, you wouldn't be happy. You'd want your expenses paid, as seen in their videos, Lewis and Simon are pretty tight on money so going to Las Vegas is far too expensive for them to afford normally and live comfortably for a while.
They didn't ask to go, or even want too originally, they were asked by Mojang, who wanted them to pay thousands just to have an hour long panel at Minecon.
And hardly crocodile tears, you think that youtube celebrities are millionaires? Far from it, they live probably on the same amount of money someone gets on average wage.
He's quite a good SC2 caster though.
Indeed he is, also knows more about Yogscast than almost anyone else as they are close, and helped loads of people get partnerships etc. Knows a lot about gaming industry, and that's why I linked to his opinion.
