Mini keyring-sized digital camera/camcorder

the cam in low light is actually ok in terms of frame rate, normally pocket cams drop to 15fps when the light fades but this thing doesn't.

think im going to bag myself one of these. The OP link is the best to order from correct (i read elsewhere in the thread about versions etc and want to make sure i order the right one)

Still can't get mine to work.

Does the SD card have to be formatted prior to use? And I've still not found the location of the driver, do I need it?

Musty Pie: Correct
Longbow: the card needs to be formatted to fat32.
The driver is only useful if you want to use it as a webcam.

I followed this with the following in the main dir (not where the pics are)

It doesnt change the time from 2008. Do i need to specifically take a picture? I have been recording a video instead

As has already been mentioned, plug the cam in and navigate to the root folder, drop the tag.txt file there, then unplug, power off and back on again.
You will know if it has worked as the tag.txt file will disappear from the root folder.

Yeah but I think that for the camera to understand how to "use" the card it needs to be formatted to Fat32 in the first place?

So regardless of it being plug and play-esque and acting like a mass storage controller i think the tech behind the camera will only work with memory in the above format? I could be WAY off though~?>

Sorted now, think it was because i got rid of the blank spaces before. It did delete the file up kept it as 2008 defaults. Now working as i left blank spaces

16 bit, 22050 Hz, 352kbps. This is quite good sound quality actually, will test later when next to speakers
