Mini keyring-sized digital camera/camcorder

The buttons have a nice solid action to them but it does feel a little flimsy as it's so light.

I suppose that's a plus though and should mean it can be dropped without damaging it but I'm not going to test that theory!
 
anyone tested this on their cat? i've always wanted to know where one of mine goes as he can be gone for days sometimes and this seems perfect to help show where, but it looks a little big to go on his collar.
 
received mine :) but how to insert the memory card correct way, is it ment to stick out a bit?

the card is a micro sd.

With the buttons facing up towards you, you insert the card with contacts facing you (upside down). You shouldn't have to force it and I had to push it into the housing using my nails and it clicks in place.

The slot is spring loaded so push it in again to have the card pop out.
 
Got my #3 today. Bits included same as picture above. Found old samsung 2gb MicroSD :D

When your charging yours the manual states in engrish that will blink green and red. Mine just blinks orange anyone else get this?

Mine came today, and a 4gb card, time to get out and shoot some video. Think I got the #3 camera, the time and date is in yellow, but how do I change it to the correct date?
 
Apologies for the following questions, as they are no doubt found within the existing posts, however I really don't fancy reading through the entire thread. If somebody could summarise up to now that'd be very useful :).

Basically, which is the best model? And can anybody provide the links to the cheapest places that are known to sell said model?

Use this file DirtyRaver. edit the time and then place it into the memory card switch it off then back on and your done.

For RastaManBob buy from the link in the first post. Its a #3 model it has the best sound and video out of all 5 models. and cheap aswell.

Question for anyone else. whats the best way to mount it, im thinking that easy removable black tape and then attacked to soft sponge on front splitter.

Could resist so i ordered one at lunchtime.
Just had an email to say its been shipped so should be with me in a couple of weeks, fingers crossed.
Ordered one from the link in 1st post, at a £10 you cant go wrong.
 
Got mine this morning, seems very good so far, did a test run in my dad's car when fetching mine from the garage, audio wasn't brilliant but was mounted over the dash and picked up indicator noises very clealy and the engine under harder acceleration.

Only problem is that my card goes all the way in with no clicking mechanism, maybe it was pushed in during production, I'm not sure, but ah well, does the job, and works as a card reader, so no real reason to take it out anyways! :)

All in all, couldn't be happier for £9! Will be ordering another when I order one for camelpaw, just need to find a good place tp put it on the front of the car where it could stick on, but not be in a position to fall off/damage the paintwork!

With that patch file for the time, if we left it clear would that remove the watermark? ie:

worth a bash timbrad but from what I have read if its not valid it defaults to some random date.

I would have a nice vtec blast video but for some reason when using my mates microsd from his phone an 8gb one it spazzed out and had to be reset so wouldnt work lol.
