Mini keyring-sized digital camera/camcorder

Here's my cat with the cam on:

It's got ear holes, and doesn't bother him too much at all. The only issue with it is that the elastic is a bit shot, so if he shakes his head (like cats tend to), it comes off his ears and acts like a collar.

Need a less knackered sock, and then I/Leo the cat can film away!

Though perhaps a steadicam is thew way forward....

Well got mine, but I not a clue whats going on, it just a solid yellow light....i plug it onto the computer, but nothing is recognised, pressing all the buttons does nothing???

Help! lol

Have you formatted the SD card as FAT32 before plugging it into the device?

Ok, well I did a reset and it seems to talk to the computer now...but how do I know its charging? the little instructions say it should flash red and green? but its not?

use 'safely remove hardware' to remove it from windows but dont actually physically disconnect it. Mine blinked for a few mins but now the light is always on. Can't be charged yet so i'll just assume it's still charging...
its safe to ignore the engrish instructions and use your gadget experience

It looks like the LED is not a great indication of the charge. Just plug it in, the LED will go orange, leave it for about 45 minutes, unplug and it should be charged.

Are you sure 45mins is long enough?

A USB port can give a max of 100mA I think, and the battery is around 200mAh so surely a charge time of 2hours+ is needed?

A USB port usually gives out a maximum of 500mA.

Ahh, that would explain why mine is getting warm while it's charging. I guess 45mins will be more than enough for a full charge in that case.

Well im back and it is still orange...but I guess it has charged.....

I think i took a video, the orange light was on...but i plugged it into the PC via USB again, opened up the files...and nothing on there??

Am I doing somethign wrong, is it meant to flash when recording or what?

Hold the video button down few a few seconds it will flash 3 times and go out, its now recording.

The light flashes 3 times then goes off when a recording starts, solid orange light means its stopped.

How do you get rid of the date/time?

howw can you tell if its a #3 or #5 etc?

Sorry if these have been answered, i tracked back a couple of pages and gave up
