I am going to set mine up to hopefully catch that pesky ghost that keeps moving my bed when I am out.
Well ive sent an email to the guy that has the http://www.chucklohr.com/ site to ask him to clarify whether they can or not!
Hopefully its possible
Well this is the reply i got:
"None of the 808 cameras work as a camera while the USB cable is connected to a power only source or computer."
And regarding the 7.50 ebay link that i posted from the rc forum:
"That camera is from Buymix168 who is either selling both #3 and #5 cameras, or that RCGroup report is mistaken. His camera might be a #5. Both the #3 and #5 are 720x480 and have a micro SD slot, but there are some big differences.
I know someone who bought a 720x480 30FPS 808 camera and a generic 4GB card from buymix168.
The camera he received was a #5 camera, not a #3 camera."
I brought one for 9 and one for 7.50 so i hope its actually a #3!
So does anyone have an example vids from in the dark?
I suspected as much, as I said, not a huge problem, I think I may see if I can install a socket that allows an external pack to be connected, and a switch so I can still use the existing internal battery.Well this is the reply i got:

I only went for the £7.50 one, I'm hoping it' a #3, but if it's not, I'll order another, as having a 2nd one as backup/spare will be handy. And regarding the 7.50 ebay link that i posted from the rc forum:

After reading through this thread I definitely want to jump on the bandwagon and get one of these! They look like a steal!
Slightly confused about the different numbers and which is the best to get. Can someone shed some light on this for me?
