Mini keyring-sized digital camera/camcorder

maybe this could be used to charge the cams for those of you who bought them.

It should work fine, I use my iPhone 3G charger to charge mine. Poundland/99p stores also sell a similar type of device but they usually have just 1/2 USB ports rather than extra accessory ports as well.

Yea got one from him too.

Mine had the issue of the camera lens coming a wee bit loose and moving forward so the casing cuts of the picture a bit. Although its easy to fix with a bit of card to prop it up tightly.

Mine is still looking fine, it's been on my bonnet, bumper, side panels, roof, wing mirror, head, dash, door etc etc and is still alive :p

I have just got mine today, just popped in a mem card (which i forgot to buy but lucky for me i found a 2gb one from an old Blackberry at work!)
I think the most amusing thing for me was the instructions shipped with it!

Anyways charge it and test it and ill post back later.

Great stuff, it would be interesting to see any videos you can capture to see what it's like.

I've got some on order for family as well, I've told them not to expect anything more than a poor webcam quality but I'm hoping it's better, the videos I've seen so far look pretty good.

Guys need a bit of help with mine. I've mounted it to my helmet but it will only fit upside down. I've tried flipping the video vertically in Virtual Dub but it's screwing up my colours as you can see in this pic:

To put it into perspective, here's what the colours look like before editing it:

Anybody got any ideas/recommendations? :(

I don't have a helmet right now so I normally ride without. I was wondering how I could attach the cam to my bike frame?

I was thinking about mounting it under the handlebar stem, but I was wondering how I could make sure it's not pointing up in the air?

Has anyone tried puting it into webcam mode while mounting it in order to get a good angle?

Really don't think there is much of a way to mount it to the actual bike that would be stable enough to make a good smooth video, even if you managed to get the angle right.
