Same, he leaves my parcels in the rear porch, if they are recorded ones he signs them and leaves me the slip, not what they are supposed to do but makes my life a lot easier!

Wow, I had just got off the phone complaining about exactly the same thing!
Ordered RMSD 1pm for YESTERDAY, and then get the cheeky card when I was in the whole time. Woman is chasing the guy at the minute, talking to Head Office.
Absolutely useless.

Our postie has a habit of delivering our post elsewhere, we can tell as the other house owners write on them that I don't live there. Granted the address' are reasonably similar, ours ends in walk, theirs ends in road and the postcode is 1 digit different. Still, they should at least now the bloody difference.

We have workmen in as well, but RMSD decides to leave my parcel on the doorstep.
Not ring the bell... Not even get one of the carpenters to sign for it.
So my 400quid package is just left out there. My dad noticed it later that day, when he arrived home from work.
Disgusted to say the least.

Just got a call back, she couldn't even get through to the Head Office, no-one answering, and now it looks like Friday delivery, for something that should have been here before 1PM yesterday

Now although I have initiated this building torrent of hatred towards RM, I have to commend them on their general duties- I normally have no problems, never have before moving here and would normally rate them higher than some of the couriers I have dealt with (Read: Mr yellow & green dropping ~£900 of computing parts over the top of my 7ft back gate).
I think as mentioned it could be middle management cracking the whip on round times etc... It still doesn't make it any less annoying though

How is it actually easier to not bring the package up rather than just write a note? Aside from a few seconds of waiting for them to answer the door...
