I have no problem with this move, does not really change anything but gives an excuse for the force to investigate heavy handed advances and then make an appropriate judgement on whether it is harassment or not. There are no new laws, no new restrictions for men, no new opportunities for women to abuse, it only seems like an introduction of procedure to treat harassment complaints and their like. If women try to abuse it and accuse someone of x or y, it gets investigated and found she is lying, i am sure it comes with its own repercussions.
The media likes to present this change as 'if you hit on women unsuccessfully, you will be done for a hate crime', which is simply not true.
