Mister FPGA

It is coming from China, I know sometimes AliExpress advertises 7 day delivery but most of the time it takes 10+ days in my experience. Still better than waiting months for the next batch of MiSTER Pi's :)
Very true, and wouldn't you know the status just updated and has landed in the UK :)

Same. I've a bartop arcade running on a raspberry pi. I look forward to swapping that out for this unit.
I have a picade, wonder if this would work with that? I think for display it's just hdmi, can't recall about the controls, will have to dig it out later.

Question for all the MiSTER owners, if I have a MiSTER (or a clone), can I store the ROMs on a USB stick/HDD or do they need to be on an SD card?

I believe you can use USB or HDD. There are cases specifically for HDDs. I am not familiar with setting them up though, suspect it might be USB?

Yes you can use a USB stick or any hard drive attached via USB. You can also use a NAS over WiFi or LAN.

I use a 2TB 2.5” SATA drive for all my games but keep the Arcade games on the SD card as these are downloaded with Update_All

I've just built and tested a DIY N64 SNAC adapter, first time using SNAC and it's a complete game changer for games like Goldeneye where you need to use the C buttons etc

If you play or plan to play a lot of N64, I highly recommend going down the SNAC route

Nice, how much did it cost to put together?

The N64 controller is iconic but I worry about how it will feel compared to modern pads. I thought about ordering the Switch one but have instead preordered the 8bitdo N64 pad that goes with the Analogue 3D. Releases end of April and is a reasonable £35.

I already had everything I needed lying around but to hazard a guess, about £6 - £7

I've just won a doner N64 off of eBay for £21 and I've already got a repo shell from AliExpress for £18, my plan is to create a 'MiSTER 3D'

That sounds awesome, I hope you'll share your progress on the forum.

Of course, I've already done a SMES "Super MiSTER Entertainment System"

Got a MiSTer inside an OG SNES case with working front control ports etc

I've had a QMTEC and MiSTER Pi and not had to pay duty on either of them, if that helps.

I'm actually tempted to order another QMTECH with the built in SDRAM for a handheld project

Has anyone ordered the SuperStation One yet? I like the idea of it, especially the $5 add on you can install a SSD hard drive into.
Very tempted, the dock isn't $5 though, it is a $5 deposit on the pre-order. Although the target of $40 doesn't sound unreasonable.

I am thinking I will probably order one...
