Always been sceptical - would anyone buy a car over a few hundred quid off eBay?
Why waste their time? It's pretty obvious you have no intent to buy an evo. Might sound harsh but this thread is one of those cries for attention when you'll end up with a fiesta or a jazz...
Hope I'm wrong but 'loose value' 'brought' why even look at Hyundai? 90% of naff cars lose value as soon as you leave the forecourt. Had you entitled this thread to be about hyundais and not even you would have received about 4 replies. It's just odd!

Spec-C Impreza 1k less than the Evo. Having been a passenger in one of these they are simply amazing. Sub 8 Minute car out of the box and with some decent modern rubber even faster! This one only has 48K on it as well.

you're sceptical about everything !!!
This one's been marked down too, the price in the actual text is £15k. Aren't Boxer engines more expensive to maintain though?
When looking at 15 year old cars costing over 10k be sceptical about everything and I mean, everything.
Did you quote the wrong person there Mal? I woukdn't be seen dead in an Evo or an Impreza unless on a track
Not that they're bad cars, far from it, I'm just not a fan.
But the Jazz would cost more than a Evo to run.
I have an Evo 8 FQ-300. If you want a capable car to drive quickly then buy a 8 or 9.
My 8 was nowhere near £15k and I bought it with 35,000 miles on it. I've only replaced the belts for peace of mind, had it serviced twice and replaced the fuel filler neck. They're expensive to run and maintain (to an extent) but they're worth it.
Mine is also completely standard which is nice.
Guy at work buys cars from Japan and sells be them on, you can get some decent motors at auction over there, he just had two scoops and a r34 gtr.
i tell you what i dont understand and you see this all the time......``it's an import, so it has no rust at all``
but doesn't it rain in Japan too !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't understand the whole JDM thing. Certain cars have different specs which makes sense but some people seem to think that a JDM car is somehow a magical unicorn despute it being 99% the same as a UK car
They don't salt the roads like here in winter and Japanese cars tend to be cared for to a higher degree than your average motor here.
Hence they can be cleaner outside and underneath.
