Models with no make up on

What I find interesting is how Elle immediately stands out from the entire picture not only because she's one of the two genuinely, universally pretty faces in the crowd, but because she's the only one who SMILES.
The rest of the girls have mugs like they were kidnapped in middle east for orange jumpsuit video show. My god, I have never seen so much misery in one place, it's like watching a casting for a "Stalin work camp meets Nazi ghetto" production instead of Louis Vuitton collection.

if they had been asked to smile then the photographs would have been boring and passable for "normal" people. Instead they go the whole other end of the scale and that creates and even better reactions then normal.. perfect advertising.

Just imagine what regular girls look like in these conditions then

exactly - deliberate bad lighting and distorted features....

most girls would likely look like complete trolls under those conditions - the models featured there look a bit freaky - foreheads blown out of proportion etc...

I wouldn't be surprised if some of them have actually got makeup on - in fact the make up/lack of make up is fairly irrelevant - the main reason they look bad is the focal length/taking the pic up close and the lighting

Models still look good without makeup - some people just like to make themselves feel better by slagging them off.

At least I can change my bodys looks and my face looks normal without any make up on :D

you'd likely look like a freak if someone stuck a 28mm lense in your face and subjected it to harsh lighting

plenty of models would still look stunning without makeup on

The image in the OP basically reminds us educated people what we already knew. Unfortunately it's the messages that are being pumped to our kids and young adults that's the issue.

And then there's the biggest cause of problems in the world, bad parenting.

Seems like a lot of people in this thread havent lived with or woken up with a woman wearing no make up...

Also, some of the photos are clearly a result of a bad 'fish-eye' effect on the camera.

I defy anyone to really look good under those close-up/lighting conditions.

Well, when i say good, what we deem to be good as a result of all the perfect photoshopped images we see everyday :o

Most, if not all those women would make all our heads turn if we were to see them out and about in the street i bet.

BMI is garbage. I'm obese according to it...

What rot! This comes up time and again and it needs to be debunked time and again. BMI is a broad guide to a healthy weight for most people. If you are far above or below it and you aren't a dedicated athlete or weight trainer then you probably need to get your diet looked at.

Its perfectly fine to be in the obese category if you do a lot of training but for most that isn't the case and they are just in denial. Remember too that weight as crept up in the last decade or two so now the "average" person is now overweight. Funny really because it means a lot of very healthy and fit individuals actually look skinny when in fact they are essentially the perfect shape for a human being.

Welp.

The image in the OP basically reminds us educated people what we already knew.

Nah it makes silly people look silly because they took the OP at face value and believed it.

Reality is lots of models still look good without make up and some of those women are incredibly beautiful. The photos have simply been distorted.

A more accurate title would have been - pictures of models with distorted features and harsh lighting.

Whether they've got makeup on or not is irrelevant - we don't actually know that they haven't but we can see that the images are clearly distorted and the lighting is bad.

3rd in fro the bottom is Rosie Huntington Whiteley right, the Transformers girl?

Just been googling. Wowzah :eek::D

Tip: safe search off

Thing is, most average good looking girl won't make it as supermodels is because they are average good looking. They are lost amongst the thousands of faces that shows up at casting. Supermodels, as well as needing the actual physique to wear the clothes. They need to stand out well. Most people's idea of good looking women would disappear in the ocean of faces that is on magazines and simply lost. So by nature, photographers and designers pick models who has a "look", they are not your typical girl next door or cheerleaders but the quirky shy one in the corner who doesn't want attention.

Beautiful freaks basically - but still beautiful...

Tis true - the cheerleader types will get lingerie catalog or swimsuit work at best.

Tall, slender and a unique look is required for fashion.
