Who sports a tie clip then? How about braces?

A decently tailored 3 piece definitely says 'Look at me, I'm wearing something that hasn't really ever been fashionable since, well, ever, in recent years, and yet I'm still going to wear it. That is exactly how boss I am.'
It's not about age and it's not about stature, it's about either feeling comfortable or not. Thinking about it, this goes for all business wear, 3 piece or otherwise.
I go for a more retro smart/cas work look these days ...
That usually involves chinos and a shirt with a brown leather manbag and various blazers or other tops ...
Love it!
Get that three piece and rock that ****. Get a monocle and top hat while you're at it.
hmmmmm maybe a silver topped cane too![]()

If someone thought I was pretentious for wearing a suit, then they're not worth my time.

OP - are you a fan of Patrick Jane?
Also I'd suggest buying more than one suit - wearing the same suit, especially if it's going to stand out, every day will get people talking that you only have one set of clothes to wear.
