And Lotus wins!

I'm pretty sure I just saw Tony Fernandes steal Danny Bahars lunch money too. Bahar is currently running of to his mother and an army of lawyers.
This is so stupid, they will the commentators to say, here comes the team lotus car with the current Renault just being called the Lotus. I dont understand why both are so happy, they have wasted millions of pounds.
Because its the 'cool' thing to do to hate Hamilton. Just look at this forum.
So to put it simply... the judge has deemed the situation should stay exactly as it is now. Team Lotus race as Team Lotus, and Lotus Renault race as Lotus Renault in black and gold. The only change from the status quo is that Team Lotus must pay damages to Group Lotus for not upholding the 5 year deal to race as Lotus Racing that they agreed last year, which was pretty much a known conclusion for that anyway.
Seems common sence prevailed. I can still see Group Lotus tryign to be ***** about it and trying to force there way into rebranding the Lotus Renalt team Lotus, and then force Team Lotus out (as they have stated on their website), but I hope they fail. They are sponsors, nothing more. Although I think Bahar is on a mission to bankrupt Lotus Cars anyway, so I doubt they will be able to afford their F1 sponsorship campaign much longer anyway.
So, from what I gather, the arguments were:
Group Lotus trying to stop Team Lotus using the name 'Lotus' in their name in F1 - Team Lotus win
Group Lotus trying to stop Team Lotus using the whole 'Team Lotus' name in F1 - Team Lotus win
Team Lotus trying to stop Group Lotus using the 'Lotus' name as part of their name (Lotus Renault) in F1 - Group Lotus win
Team Lotus trying to stop Group Lotus using the black and gold colours in F1 - Group Lotus win (I wasn't even aware this was being contested, its just colours...?)

I read that yesterday. Just when I though he had turned a corner and was starting to grow up a bit he comes out with that tosh.
I'm just happy that my best qually time on F1 2010 is smack bang on the time Fernando Alonso posted for FP2
Nex Stefano will be calling me and I test my Italian.
How mental is that!!! Shame about Kubica being out sort of ruing the team but Cossworth engines would be a funny end to it...
It is kind of win win for Renault car company, they still have a car with Renault on next year, plus potentially another team sporting their engine.
I think we are about to see Lotus Renault fall down the grid as the others have the money to update cars.
Narain Karthikeyan was outside the 107% time from Q1 (1’21.982) set on soft tyres. If his FP2 time was set on super-softs, it does not bode well for his chances of qualifying
Giedo van de Garde, Sam Bird and Jules Bianchi were all faster than Karthikeyan in the GP2 qualifying session held after second practice
