Monaco Grand Prix 2011, Monte-Carlo - Race 6/19

Yeah driver error. Happens quite often there.

Braking too heavy whilst turning, and then the dip in the track shifts the balance of the car forward and the rear end breaks away.

Love these 'expert' comments about 'driver error' and they have just said low tyre pressure caused the crash lol

I don't think anyone claimed to be an expert! They didn't say low tyre pressure caused the crash - they only said that it may have contributed. i.e. the conditions of the car may have made it easier to have that crash but there was still driver error it seemed.

Alonso is looking good for a win this weekend.

I am still not convinced by their pace. Some reports were saying RB have been running with lots of fuel and it would be a surprise to not see them adead in quali.

Equally, as we saw in Spain, Ferrari don't have good race pace, but we will just have to see.

RB would probably prefer a Ferrari up there though than a McLaren.

I assume this was aimed at me. And what I explained is easily possible without low tyre pressure, but low pressure will make it a much easier mistake to make.

It's still driver error.

If you listen to the driver radio again, he locked the rear wheels, but low tyre pressures may have been a contributing factor.

Low tyre pressures after 2 laps, well thats Rosbergs issue again not getting the tyres up to temperature and pressure.

Love weekends like this, get to fully utilise my two monitors:
