Final practice - Alonso tops disjointed Monaco session
Fernando Alonso continued to set the pace on Saturday morning in a final Monaco practice session that was book-ended by heavy accidents.

The session is red flagged for nearly 15 minutes while the debris is cleared from the Monte Carlo track.

So was p3 good? (couldn't wake up) anyone else giggling at "floater home" not the most well thought out name there...

Quali looks like it'll be nice and close
 
Earlier on some people mentioned saving tyres, yet the degradation here is so small there isn't much benefit to it. Better to get good grid position instead.

I'd love to see the pole sitter do 1 stopper, that would keep the field all nice and close.
 
It's nice to see that even though it's Monaco, there is still a French work ethic.
All the Casino workers went on strike for 4 days from Yesterday.

I'm actually surprised they told anyone. The normal French way, is to go on strike and not tell anyone.
 
First 2 laps done, there's 5 seconds between Renault and Virgin with the Virgin on super softs but the Renault on soft!

107% rule has to be taking a few teams out today

Edit yeah they are getting the super softs to switch on a little but still im with the commentators, HRT and Virgin look like they will be poor

Yup, I'm glad to see that. Still, I think it will be a problem later in the season if they don't do something about it.
