He really should be able to keep that Merc at least vaguely near Rosberg, that's quite depressing to see him needing to use super softs just to not get knocked out by a Toro Rosso or Force India :/

Lol! Well i mean, Hispania come out, do a 'fast lap' which is some 14 seconds off the pace and go right back into the pits, all it achieves is un-necessary traffic for the rest.

(By 'fast lap' i mean .. it would be, if they actually crossed the line rather then going pit -> Pit)

Alonso was just doing enough to get into Q2 by the look of it, still wouldn't rule him out for pole.

Alonso not showing his pace in Q1 really, McLaren look stronger than I thought.

Rosberg was hugely impressive there, MSC not so much..

Maldonado did brilliantly to get 4th in Q1, he loves Monaco.

Only time they were 14 seconds off the pace IIRC was in Australia. Which was their fault as the car was even in running condition when it arrived.

I expect them to let HRT run. Their practice times were within the 107% time so they have the necessary pace.

Argh I hate the presenters. After after crash they always have to ask someone, "how much does to take, to get back into the car after a big crash like that?"

How many times do we need to hear it.

It's their job. They get in the car or they lose it. Simple.

Seeing that accident again, it's really surprising how badly damaged the HRT was when it hit the tyre barrier at a reasonably slow speed.

Terrifying! As Brundle said folded up like a piece of paper pretty much going to cause a real accident.

Algersuarie was pretty much playing the gp2 game from yesterday...
