Because the drop off/degredation is so small here, you can still gain time doing multiple laps on the same tyre

Apparently Renault has no money at the moment so they are struggling with paying for engines, development, employees... They are pretty rapidly going backwards.

I saw that too, no money is coming from Russia and the other investors are looking bored without Kubica. Shame as im warming to Petrov (though the Lotus nonsense has done nothing for the team)
