Monaco Grand Prix 2014, Monte Carlo - Race 6/19

Sensible for sure, get a clear lap and even on softs the fast guys will easily be in Q2. Thing is the track might be clear now but when they come back around no certainty of slow cars not coming out a later on. Want to see Merc/RBR fight it out in Q3 so don't want any slip ups from them, either hitting walls or being blocked and missing out on Q3.

Mercedes looking good. :D

Realistically very, but the smaller gap makes it look closer, but just short lap.

Lotus though, looking good though I don't know if they are on super softs already, wouldn't be surprised.

EDIT:- literally as I posted they cut to Grosjean onboard and yes, they are on super softs so no idea where they really are then. Not sure who is on softs and who is on super softs.

How are Lotus looking good?

They went 3rd/4th but it was before I knew they were on supersofts. Still not half bad considering where they've been, considering how that car has been, slipping all over the place more than any other car(pretty much) up to Spain, still looking unruly, to be this fast with that car is still pretty good, they are making big steps forward every race now.

Why did Button seem to pull put of the lap but not go in the pits? Really strange, he looked slow out of the corner before the pits but then kept going.

Shame for Williams, Bottas not good enough and Massa getting very unlucky. Kvyat doing well again. Magnussen 4/10th's faster than Button and into Q3 again.

Not quite sure why the Merc's went out and burned another set of tires, or took even more life out of the same set. Either way that could have been the tires for their banker run in Q3 and then fresh set at end of session. They were in no danger at all.
