Monaco Grand Prix 2015, Monte Carlo - Race 6/19

So, as usual a completely crap "race" at monaco. There is no way that track should be on the calendar. Mansell proved you couldn't overtake there decades ago even when he had a massively faster car on fresh tyres when he came up behind Senna.

If I was Lewis I would have decked someone for that disgraceful call. That person should be out of a job. It was a completely pointless and unneccessary pit stop that only succeeded in gifting the ever smug Rosberg a race in which he was completely outclassed.

wow, i was sat here watching it about 20 mins behind time thinking how lame it was, then the crash and then the most ridiculous call i have ever seen in recent years.

Its made worse by the fact a smug rosberg won, i seriously dislike that guy

Today is a day where armchair experts have beaten the Merc strategy guys.
Pretty sure no-one else on the planet would have made that call.

At the end of the day, this isn't Rosberg's fault.

I'm sure swimming in the 100 million Duck Tales money pool, will take Ham's mind off it.

What would've happened of Lewis ignored them and stayed put?

He'd have won, and everyone would have commended Hamilton for ignoring a bad call.

Track position is absolute king at Monaco as was proved when Hamilton tried to overtake Vettel it didn't matter what age tyres he had on you can't get by without a mistake. Unless your tyres are dropping off or flat don't come in!

Even if Ferrari had pitted they wouldn't have got by Rosberg let alone Hamilton.

At least Merc fronted up and took the blame for it. Horner and co would have been spinning like a washing machine by now if this had been Red Bull.

You are massively missing the point. If it's all about the fastest car and overtaking then go watch the Indy 500. Take away the history and the glamour and the atmosphere and Monaco is still a special one-off challenge for the drivers.

I will go to a race there one year, if only to be a couple of feet away from an F1 car grazing the barrier of a city street on full attack.
