Monaco Grand Prix 2015, Monte Carlo - Race 6/19

The interview from Toto Wolff on the radio suggested Lewis was complaining about loss of tyre temps, and loss of grip, and they thought there was a bigger gap so told him to pit.
I don't think he queried it at all, assuming the gap was where the gap needed to be.

What I don't get is that they had so long to abort the pitstop.

When I saw the pitstop was happening I took it on good faith the gap was big enough.

But then it was taking so long for Hamilton to actually get into the pits you immediately realised there might be a problem, he must have been picked up by the safety car.

Hamilton and his younger brother handled that with utter class, dignity and true professionalism. Behind closed doors though the shizz is gonna hit the fan and rightly so, the poor sod was robbed!! Hopefully it doesn't make a difference in the Word Title race otherwise that would be tragic!

+1

Also lewis was held up on the release slightly by a sauber I think which made the difference but Merc shouldn't have been chancing it if it was that close as the hold up wasn't massive.

Hamilton showed true class in the post race interview, could have easily gone mental and didn't. Nico on the other hand....I'm sorry but his celebration was utterly disrespectful towards lewis IMO.

Kudos to Lewis. He is fuming but biting his tongue. Also Im impressed at how he is responding to some of the questions by Sky Sports, trying to get a rise out of him but failing.

Hes only thinking about Canada now.

Assuming in next race mercs 1-2 with nico 1st, do you think merc might dp a switch as a sorry or not?

Nico would never go for that, and I'd hope the fans wouldn't want that either.
That would just be making it worse, like Schumacher trying to engineer a dead heat in the US.
They messed up, don't **** around further to try and make things right. Just don't do it again.

hamilton acting like a spoilt child

This along with a few other posts showing precisely that people are anti Hamilton regardless of the situation.

Hamilton could have completely understandably unloaded on the team, I may well have in his position, many would have and HAVE done in the past in similar situations(mostly less retarded mistakes).

That was a massive error by the team utterly screwing the driver over and Hamilton as others have said showed nothing but class, no blaming, no refusing to speak or shake hands with Rosberg.

He showed some minor irritation, slow lap and hitting the 3rd place sign was epic, not petulant. It was a brilliant way to show a little displeasure without being a ****, it genuinely drew a hearty laugh from both me and my dad.
