but the main part should be the racing quality is that correct ??
I would say no, because it is an event and a spectacle. I wouldn't say improving racing quality would be f1 anymore, it's a competition, without artificially handicapping the fastest it will always be a procession of sorts.

it had all the ingredients to make for such exciting race thats how poor Monaco is for pure racing
Why did you watch it? It was far better than most Monaco races. If you need something different watch something different.

I disagree if someone new was watching think they would be turned off purely on the racing

Agreed, it isn't about a spectacle on tv. For those who attend, and for the principality, it should be retained. No-one has a right to cancel just because they don't like what they see from their armchairs.
As stated, if you don’t like it, don’t watch it and let those who do appreciate it's value still be able to...

It's not even for them. All Monaco has been for is for corporate and a backdrop for sponsorship and contracts. F1 has no interest in the people in the stands, and clearly have no interest in viewership or how utterly terrible the cars and drivers look on the joke of a circuit. Track should have been scrapped over 10 years ago.

Russell's finished ahead of Hamilton in 6 out of 7 races so far :o
Did you not see Lewis' interview before the race?

Pretty much confirmed what Ross Brawn said in the article I linked in the off topic thread.

They have completely different cars, Lewis is always trying new parts and new setups so has a different car almost every session, having to learn new handling traits etc every time.

George gets pretty much same car all the time so is more used to the way it handles etc.

If were saying f1 is the elite motorsport they have got to get it into a place where they can race in the rain. If these cars don't like the rain then make ones that do. Its embarrassing, and they can't always be chasing the sun.

I dont care much for Monaco anymore and this race just proves that despite every single spicy ingredient being thrown in they can not make it entertaining..I assume they want it gone as its not making them money, rather than they actually care about the racing but either way in a packed schedule its now the odd ball.

I'm guessing they have agreed that to get it sorted one car has to be a stable always same yard stick to measure the other when they slap new pieces on it. Also thinking if they put it all together for sure Lewis is given all the updates first.

Exactly, but it also means Lewis often gets setups that just don't work, and make the car undrivable, but he just has to get on with it.

Ross Brawn basically said, the team are sacrificying Lewis and championship points, to get the issues with the car sorted ASAP.
