Mondeo's...

So foxy, seeing as your the 1 who loves there mondeo's, would a 1.6 suit my needs, seeing as i hate little small and chavvy cars!

I wil be doing what most 17's year olds are doing, going on there dad's insurance til they can afford there own insurance, i will be setting up my own policy but my dad will be the proposer and i will be the Additional driver.

Many 17 years also don't buy insurance, why not consider that route? After all, if other people do it, it must be ok?

Personally I really dont rate the 1.6 litre engine in the Mondeo but provided you are happy with it, its one of the better 500 quid cars.

Nothing wrong the the Focus materials, I was more refering to the fact the interior was designed after a fight with a set square.

Mondeo MK2 Interior - Boring
Focus Interior - Boring but only just remotely exciting to look at I guess - the interior and looks were the things that set it apart from other yawnmobiles at the time.

I had a lift in my mates 700 quid Mondeo Zetec yesterday. It was as nice, if not better, than your many thousand pound Focus, frankly. The only thing your Focus would have been better at is shedding value and handling.

And I like my handling so I'd pick my Focus over a MK2 Mondeo anyday. You favour the barge handling and that's fine by me.

owning a mk2 mondy for hmm 1 month lol i can safely say the focus interior is nicer, HOWEVER on the later mk2's like RG-TOM's with the black interior, i think that is nicer then the focus in some ways its also a nicer driving position in the mondeo, layed back cruiser like..

Boring? It's a £500 car it's not going to be a V8 Vantage inside.

The time was 10 years ago. Now it's just wacky without offering anything over the interior of a Mondeo many times cheaper.

Good for you. Now push off out of this thread unless you can provide links to £500 Ford Focus's, otherwise you are just posting pointless junk.

hehe. i'm insured don't worry lol

but thats how a lot of these chavs look at insurance.. (not saying chopper is a chav or out)

... you don't get a 60 quid fine?

How about 12 month ban, going to court and having to pay a fine and court costs and having your car taken off you and crushed.

I'd gamble on that, it's 300 quid for a T reg car! Although I'd want a fresh MOT on it. Then you can simply throw it in the bin a year later.

Yeah, that was my sort of idea till i hit 18/19 so i can afford my own insurance and will have experience on the road for a nice car.

Frankly if you cant afford your own insurance you cant afford to drive. If you have an accident and the insurer discovers it's your car and you'd defrauded them, they can sue you to recover the cost of meeting the third party claim. Then it wont be anywhere near as cheap.

And it's always blatantly obvious, Dad has a nice car, but also happens to have a cheap banger his Son is a named driver on, I wonder why..
