Mondeo's...

Boring? It's a £500 car it's not going to be a V8 Vantage inside.

You seemed to think there is something special which sets it apart from a newer Focus interior though. Which is what exactly?

Like you said it's not a V8 vantage so I fail to see what sets it apart from a newer Focus interior wise?

Good for you. Now push off out of this thread unless you can provide links to £500 Ford Focus's, otherwise you are just posting pointless junk.

Course I can provide links but it's not a requirement of the thread. Infact the OP didn't even ask for links to £500 Mondeos so how about you 'push off'

No wacky zany shapes.

It's a thread about a 500 quid Mondeo not how much you love your 1.6 Focus.

Right. It's not really that wacky you know. Infact not at all really.

Also I simply said why most of his friends chose a Focus, because they look better, handle better and have more street credz yo'z! ;)

Most 17 years olds don't care about value. I know I didn't at 17

Anyway OP the 1.6 in the Mondeo MK2 is 90BHP afaik so it will be slightly underpowered but enough to get the job done and please don't front. Own policy F.T.W.

Most people I knew at 17 just wanted a good looking car and weren't too fussed about depreciation, far better things to worry about when you're that age and more things to do with your time ;). Hence more young people go for the smaller more 'Zany' cars.

Anyway I'm not debating with you anymore you're just looking for an argument as of recent. Is it that time of month already?

Yeah, that is still true, but the far better things to do is now in the cars ;)

Was that aimed at me?

Are you just plain dumb?

HE HAS £500 TO SPEND. A FOCUS COSTS £2500. It doesn't matter how much he cares about depreciation if he plain can't afford the car you keep banging on about, does it?

Anyway I'm not debating with you anymore you're just looking for an argument as of recent.

lol@your hypocricy.

You have totally missed the point. Even if the guy doesn't care about depreciation and so on he has only got five hundred quid to spend

£500 will NOT buy him a Focus will it, so all your points are moot.

EDIT
LOL Fox, great minds etc.

Hehe :p

Any idea's what these drive like?

Nice drive, plenty of space inside, styling doesn't look too old. Nice litle cars. dturbo is very cheap to insure (think it's only gp5), get tpft, it's cheaper than tpo.

Stop shouting Grandad,

His situation is one where he has to worry about value he does not have a choice as such but you get a group of 17 years olds and you can see why the Mondeo would be bottom of the pile and this is the reason I say that most of his friends have chose the Focus because of its better looks and not it's value or depreciation. I'm not recommending him the Focus because that would be silly as he can't afford one.

P.S Turn the caps lock of fail off.

So shut up about it then, because nobody cares bar you.

You're creating an argument where there isn't one. I have never once recomemnded him a Focus in this thread but simply explained why most of his friends picked the Focus something which you questioned me about and I explained myself . Most are not 17 turning 70.
