Can't believe I'm writing this.

Would you give your cleaner a gift for Christmas?
She's employed and must be on minimum wage as I don't really pay the company much who she works for.

I'd rather give cash in a card as that's what I'd prefer.

We've had a few cleaners from this company and requested this particular one as she's so much better than any of the others.

I expect mockery for this thread.

This is a level of kindness that I like to see.

On the flipside, so tempting to not be serious...
One day get her to come and "clean" but she can put her feet up with a vodka and tv, you can do the cleaning that day...

I probably wouldn't but that's because I'm a stingy git. We pay our cleaner to clean, it's a purely business relationship.

Same usually. I don't really tip for work. That includes restaurants unless it's above and beyond.

But it's such a time saver for me. And she's so much better than others. Like she does more than she has to.

Maybe a nice box of chocolates or something? A gift doesn't need to be a lot. Just to thank them for their services and to let them know they're appreciated.

Drinking on the job and watching TV that you'd rather be watching in the comfort of your own home without some weirdo cleaning around you.

I'll take the Amazon vouchers in a card, thank you.

A days work without lifting a finger, is also tempting to most.
But most would rather still be doing something else than sitting in your clients.
