Monzo/Starling Banking/Revolut

Does anyone here use Actual Budget? I've imported my Monzo and Starling accounts.

Starling has the main account and pots all included as one account.

Monzo imports the main account but the pots show a zero balance despite having money in them.

Is this just a limitation of Monzo and AB doesn't recognise the pots?

I am always surprised when people hold good chunks of cash in these app banks though.
It's because people like Martin Lewis Money Saving Expert harp on about your money being safe up to £85K protection if the provider goes bust so it's safe safe safe. What they don't tell you is that the provider can close your account at any time for no reason at all and keep all your money because you have agreed to it in the terms.

Do you have a source for this? I find that hard to believe.

Eh? I've got like 50 savings accounts on there and have frequent auto payments set up in to them.

I mean, there's **** all in them but they're there :D
They're not full on accounts though are they, ie they don't show up on your credit rating account? Just virtual accounts?

You can't set up DD and things to come out of them though can you which I think you can with spaces?

I may be wrong it's been a long week full of covid so my brain is a bit fried:D

You can setup standing orders from the savings accounts I know that for sure. Each one has different account numbers, you can choose which account the card spends from etc.

I have my credit card direct debit taken from a Chase savings account. They all have individual sort codes and account numbers. They are more handy than Starling Spaces in my opinion and make interest too.
