Monzo/Starling Banking/Revolut

Switch almost complete, I can see a payment from work for expenses showing as pending and I've not changed my work details yet. Also a pending direct debit is showing as well as the remaining balance from First Direct has been sent over. All very slick and I'm really enjoying the app.

You should be able to get that payment at 4pm the day before it's due to come in.

I always get the 'can you try again' when I try contactless or Apple Pay at Tesco. It's been happening for about two years now where the first attempt just seems to time out.

I got a request from Revolut to resend my ID that registered with, through the app, because banking regs have changed.

I didn't think much of it because it came through the app and gave it willingly :P

Anyone else got this? Might be cos im registered from not the UK. Something from Brexit regulation possibly.

I never switched though myself I decided to open new account rather than switching. I have nothing to switch really :)

EDIT: With Revolut you can now get a metal card like Apple;

Must have come out a year before Apple.

Yea cards are so dated now :p I pay with Apple pay pretty much everything.

Hmm the mobile pay solutions are only good for tiny purchases, and the new security measures mean they often fail especially abroad. I used to use it a lot for lunch, bakery, pubs etc.. but now it's just a pain. Things that won't go through via apple/android pay (I have both) go through just fine using the physical card contactless.

I've never had an Apple Pay transaction fail and 95% of shops now accept it for over £30. I've spent hundreds on a single transaction using Apple Pay on my watch and always use it when I fill the car up with fuel.

There's no limit on Apple Pay most of the places I go.
