Mopeds

I ride a Vespa ET4 50,

Not as loud as a 2 stroke as its a 4 stroke machine,

It will go 45mph, wouldnt dream of using the dual carriageway though, i sue it around town and on occasion single lane A roads where i always move aside for faster traffic.

Another thing i do is stay in the queue! rather than lane splitting to get to the front!

Mopeds **** me right off.

I would love a plough fitted to my car to just ram them off the road and into the pavement.

Were you the ****wit in the LCR ramming the bike rider off the road in a video posted on here by any chance?

Dont mind vespas/lambrettas.

I was out on the bike today - 150 miles from Harrogate > pickering > whitby > scarborough > home and must have passed about 300 scooters. Must have been a big rally going on in scarborough. I could smell the 2 stroke for most of my journey home. Some were struggling to keep up, but generally the bank holiday traffic was slowing the cars down to sub 50mph anyway.

So can we ban ...

Mopeds
Old people
Cyclists
Horses
Milkfloats
Traction engines
JCBs
Tractors
Caravans
People who drive while wearing hats

We could always use the French method of giving way to traffic Joining a dual caariage way :)

I think the government should allow 125's at 16 and there wouldn't be so much of a problem.

How old do you have to be in the UK to drive 125 ccm bikes? In Norway, where I happen to live, you can drive them from when you're 16, even though they are restricted to 15 bhp (you can easily double that with minor modifications) :p
