Mordhau [first-person Medieval multiplayer fighting game]

Mordhau is a multiplayer first person slasher. Design your own weapons and armor, then battle it out with other players in various modes. It features a deep and fluid combat system that allows those that master it to turn into an unstoppable force on the battlefield

liking the look of this seems like a more advanced and fluid version of Medieval modern combat

Some nice ideas in there. Reminds me a little of the style of Severance : Blade of Darkness, which as far as I'm concerned is a good thing.

Seem like Kingdom Come will be the only swordbased game that I can actually enjoy (it is purely singleplayer, narrative driven).

I just find it to be a waste of time. I prefer games with narrative that let me experience some cool new story over mindless killing of other people online. Your mileage may vary of course

I used to be like you but then I did my first Vanguard charge which resulted in a decapitation in Chilvary and I was never the same.
