Does "this store" mind seperate delivery and billing addresses? I have used them before. So im not a new customer.

think i might have screwed my order up :( not sure if i should cancel and try again or not.

This is very annoying how are the rest of us get a chance when, as soon as limited stock appears it gets snapped up by one or two people. Those who are doing it are trawling most forums, looking for threads whereby fellow memebers are trying to help others and buying them all up.

Retailers/Nintendo should really limit it to one per household, at the moment they have a lot of disgruntled customers without such measures in place these new console releases are becoming an all out fiasco.

I think most are limiting 1 per household.. which is why i didnt get my initial one.. my brother did :( Im pretyt sure an order of 80+ will be declined. Although a large supermarket i was at the other day allowed somone to buy 2. As he got shirty with the customer service lady.

Their 8 orders of 10 consoles per order seemed to have been accepted, they showed me the amazon e-mails..

It's a tough one, but you can't really knock people for making money in a legal manner..

As said, it should be limited to one per household for the forst 3 months, shipped from the manufacturer who keeps records... it would make these things much more painless.. there would still be ebayers, but the numbers would be greatly reduced..

Retailers should limited the no. per customer. Just like in other markets.

They'd still sell them all, just not as quickly.

Bagged ONE myself :)

well, I just sent this to a well known retailer:

Hi,

As a regular user of ******, I have just attempted to buy a Nintendo Wii from your stock that was available to purchase this morning. By the time I clicked to add the order to my basket I was informed that there was no stock available. I have just had it made aware to me, with proof, that several individuals have place orders of 8 to 10 consoles multiple times purely to sell on for profit. I find it astonishing that your system allows this abuse of a highly sought after item to continue.
I realise that it is not a problem for you, after all, the item has been sold and you have your money. However you have now lost a customer. Allowing a small few to corner the market and artificially inflate prices, especially this side of Christmas, is unnacceptable and I feel that you should do something to prevent future occurances of this abuse. Allowing it will just alienate your normal customers.

Yours regretfully,

Conor Hackett

I was so fast it doesn't even say it was edited. I realised as soon as I posted it. :) I may be exaggerating abit in the email, but I don't care. It's taking the mick now. As has been said before, buying one extra one is fine, pays for your first one so I understand. Allowing flagrant abuse through mass purchases is just not acceptable imo. Yes people don't have to pay inflated prices, but that is not the issue. Allowing individuals to buy more than a sensible amount just adds to the problem. it wouldn't be as bad, but the xbox 360 situation should have opened their eyes to this potential problem

You never know, I'm still kind of hopeful that that maybe the case. Deliveries appear to be speeding up atm, but there is the inevitable slow down for crimbo.
