Most hated player in Britain

"Cleared, Giggs with the shot, SHERINGHAM!!!!! Name on the trophy. Teddy Sheringham, with 30 seconds of added time played, has equalized for Manchester United. They are still in the European cup."

:D

No idea why Rooney is on the top 10...

Ronaldo, only gets hated when he goes down easily and looks for a free kick or something and doesnt get it. The opposite crowd gets on his back.

Savage, is just, well, I dunno, but deserves to be up there and so does Lucas Neil, dirty little.....

Diouf, is the worse player of them all. Top and by far, would have to be something bad to beat him.

I've made my views very clear about this and Gooner share's my hatred for him, as do most, if not all, fellow Gooners. :mad:
lol Always makes me chuckle how the Gooners go mad for Teddy. I was at the home game the season after we did the Treble and Teddy was on the bench. Every time he got up the Arsenal fans gave him a right load of stick.

After half time Teddy had enough. Put his hands to his ears as the Arsenal fans gave it to him. Turned to them and pretended to lift up 3 cups and kiss them. 10 seconds of total silence from the travelling Gooners which takes some doing

Anyway hated players

* Ashley Cole
* Robbie Fowler
* Robbie Savage
* Craig Bellamy
* Lee Bowyer

Ian Walker
Chris Sutton
Teddy Sheringham
Craig Bellamy
El-Hadj Diouf
Joey Barton
Nicolas Anelka
Lee Bowyer

Oh, and I wouldn't say Robben is flavour of the moment. I thought he was a diving so-and-so even before he joined Chelsea.

Dickov (for looking like that bloke out of UB40)
Bellamy
Andy Todd
Lucas Neil
Robbie Savage
Jens Lehman
Lauren (vile character who needs a good kicking!)
Pires
Reyes
Fowler (little pasta shell eared scouser)
McManaman

I reckon Savage would be lower (he just always seemed like a good chap off the pitch). Also I think Bellamy would be lower as he seems to have cleaned up his act and, again, I get the impression that he's quite a intelligent person which always boost estimations. I'd say Rooney lower aswell as I think he has changed a lot in a year.

Roy Keane should be number one, purposely ending someones career is far worse than anything anyone else I can think of has done. He is the dirt of the earth. :mad: Ferguson is just a plank aswell, a thug on the pitch more than anything.

Eboue of Arsenal is getting irritating for me, I think he'll be a great attacking full back in the future, but he doesn't half whinge for the pettieist things - sometimes it's like watching a child on the pitch. I spose it's funny though. :D Joe Cole, though a great, great player nowadays, is a bit of a diver aswell. A couple of games ago when he went down like he'd been shot was painful to watch.

Also I think any player who does two footed tackles is not a nice player, I think such a tackle is unnatural and a player has to think about it. Michael Brown recently, but someone who sticks in my mind is Flamini I think who had a penchant for such challenges.

My top 10: (no particular order)

Viera
Rooney (England liability)
Robben (cheat....)
Essien (that tackle in the Liverpool game :eek: )
Roy Keane
Beckham - at times (Beckham this Beckham that.....)
Gary Neville
Luke Chadwick - he is so ugly he cracked my tv
Terry
Bowyer

To my knowledge Keane has ended no footballer's career.

"David has now had 17 operations on his damaged leg, and not surprisingly, has been forced to give up the game, although the club stood by David and kept his contract active till the end of this season, even though there was really no hope of him kicking a football again in anger. A testimonial game has been organised for him which will be played this Friday evening (16th May 1997) at Coventry City, against Manchester United, with guest players Paul Gasgoigne, Ally McCoist and Les Ferdinand turning out for Coventry. The game has been fully sold out for a while now, so it should be a good final payout for David to allow him to continue life as best he can, and we all here wish him well."

Correct me if I am wrong, but, isn't that Roy Keane just out of shot smashing DB's shin? or was it Brian McClair?

Not quite. Looks like Denis Irwin to me.

You're showing your ignorance if you think ANY player was responsible for David Busst's injury.

I am sure of what I said because I was sitting here when I said it! I said:

I can see that the player who is in shot is Dennis Irwin :rolleyes: and I am sorry for "showing my ignorance" and failing to understand that DB's career ending "accident" was "caused" by Brian McClair......So who was responsible if not he?
