Most of what you believe about a healthy diet is probably not true.

It is all in the genetics in the end. If your family have a history of problems do what you can to supplement it. If your families all live into their 90's go for it.

My grandad on both sides lived into their 90's. Both brought up on bread and dripping and both smoked for large portions of their life.

D3 at a medical dose. Not for youngsters (you dont need it).
Not quite true at least not in places like the UK, most of the population has chronically low vitamin D levels without supplementation especially outside of the summer months. I've taken 5000iu a day for years.

This is what makes me laugh about all these all in 1 meal replacement drinks like AG1 or Huel. They think they have all the answers.

20 years ago we though carbs was great, fat was bad.
It now completely reversed!

The understanding of our bodies, is not absolute.

How can anyone be 100% confident to say anything be completely healthy for you, or not. All I know is that the saying "moderation is key", holds true. Whether it is food, drink, women...

A chip buttie is one of the most well rounded meals you can have.

Potato's from the chips are very good for you.
Dairy from the butter is very good for you.
Wheat from the bread is very good for you.

We should all be eating more chip butties.

What kind of cretin forgets the gravy.

It's almost like humans ain't really got a clue and that all studies past, present and in the future should never be taken as gospel because it's always liable to change.

Balance is the key.

I take 3(000iu) daily to rebuild and maintain skeletal muscle mass. Agreed that in less sunny climates vit D3 is equally important.

Don't eat the chicken before you eat the egg...otherwise you won't get anymore eggs.

However, the chicken is more tasty.

Ahh, just eat whatever comes first.

I always come first...

I think a lot of it is obvious.

A balanced and varied diet with nothing consumed in excess is the best way.

Just make sure you are getting everything you need, and not too much of anything. Fad diets and cutting out single food groups etc are stupid.

Enjoy a dominos or mcdonalds if you want to, just have one as a treat every week or two, not for every meal.
