MOTO GP 2011

When Rossi took Stoner out the marshals clearly favoured Rossi, swarming around him while Stoner was left with virtually no help.

your failing to mention that rossi was stuck sat on his bike with another motorbike ON TOP of him and stoner was on his feet obviously uninjured

rossi also doesn't act like a spoilt brat every single season. i know who i would have helped ;)

the marshalls seemed a bit untrained anyway, one of them was pulling someones brake lever when they where trying to push start them :p

given that Stoner could have been injured.

he was on his feet and back on his bike by the time they where picking rossi up off the floor

No, I'm commenting about how they all helped get him on his why AFTER they moved the bike. Stoner was left with one guy trying to push the bike while Rossi had an army of helper.

Stoners bike was undamaged and could have been restarted IF he'd have had the help Rossi had.

Either way the marshals should have helped both riders equally no matter what their personalitlies are like.

dont know what moaner was moaning about all the marshall was behind him after rossi was gone.

i just watch it there i think they both got the same amount of help

I think you guys are forgetting that help is to be offered to everyone. Even if a rider is on his feet, should still be offered to confirm he's 100% alright. Pathetic display from the marshalls. For what it's worth he may have been able to start the bike with a push, not that the pathetic spaniards do nothing.

Hope when it comes to the island the roles are reversed :)

Nope, they all started walking away after they helped Rossi. There was only 1 marshall helping Stoner and then more joined in. It was a bit of a joke to see. It's amazing how Rossi fanboys look at it differently!! I've only just got into MotoGP so not really a fan of anyone yet, just really surprised by how unprofessional the marshalls were.

Was a fantastic race though, I was gutted for Simoncelli when he came off as he was riding brilliantly.

As i've said though, Moaner will be a major threat for the title this year...and whats the nationality of the other two big name riders in contention?
:D

I don't know whether I should fine your post inflamatory or stupid. I personally, don't feel the nationality of a rider should effect whether they are genuinely offered the same amount of help.

Secondly, his name is Stoner. If I didn't receive the same help as other riders, ie Rossi, I'd be upset too.

It should not but sadly it does, the spanish LOVE their own riders and well everywhere loves Rossi, the Italian Marshalls aren't much better sadly, I Marshall in this country and we would most likely get asked to leave if we left a rider out like they did too Stoner.

I like Stoner - I cant understand really why he gets the moaner tag. He doesn't moan anymore than any other rider. I like Rossi ,but look at how he started throwing his toys out of the pram as he gets challenged by Lorenzo in the garage.

Maybe its because he's just not interested in any of the non-racing / publicity stuff. He just wants to turn up and race as hard as he can all weekend - I like that :)

All i did was call him Stacey Moaner...keep your pants on mate!!!

You brought nationality in to the discussion. In any case there's no need to throw names around, keep your pants on mate ;)

'tis a valid point though i think, and its aimed more towards the marshals than Oz mate...Stacey i don't think i'd support if he was English! :D. And i'm not wearing any pants...
:)

I guess you have to agree to disagree but I don't feel a persons nationality should matter when it comes to marshalls offering assistance after a crash :)

Shoe on the other foot, if I was English, I wouldn't support Toseland.

Peace.
