Dovi, Cal or Rossi for the seat?


Would love to see Rossi on a Yam again but he'd have a hard time beating Lorenzo now. Not sure if he'd do it.

i want cal to get it but i have a bad feeling dovi will get it
Rossi would be good too and Yamaha would get a big sponsor I'm sure, since Rossi left even Lorenzo couldn't bring a big sponsor in and Yamaha have had to pay it all and I'm sure the BIG money they had to pay to keep Lorenzo, Rossi bring a big sponsor would help lessen that burden
i really do think he's still got it in him to win races

The way I see it, Lorenzo will stay the #1 rider no matter what. If Rossi joins he will bring a lot of money and still be quite competitive and most likely win races. Dovi will be consistent but would he be a championship contender? he had 2 years on a factory Honda and wasn't close. Cal is looking like an upcoming talent this year but lacks consistency and won't bring much money with him. Depends what happened behind the scenes when Rossi left and if there's any bad blood there, time will tell.

I was quite surprised when they mentioned Spies resigning with Yamaha given his performance this year, no doubt he's a good rider but it hasn't worked this year. Shame really as I expected the 1000's to suit him more than the 800!

if rossi goes to yamaha it will more than likely a 1 bike team, an off shoot from lorenzos team, really cant see them in the same garage as before.

dovi, can see him a race winner on the works bike but not going to win the championship.

maybe spies to the new works suzuki, its rumured to be coming back before 2014
 
The satelite bikes usually end up being the works bikes as they are at the end of the previous season. This season is, of course, the exception.

Julian Ryder has said that he's had it as good as confirmed from two completely independant sources that Spies is going to BMW for two years, probably in place of Haslam.

yeah thats why cal n dovi doing so well on those bikes and the reason they don't want to really stay in the team next year as they will be back to how it was in the 800's where they wont get on the podium

Marco is leaving the main bmw works team next year and going to the BMW MOTORRAD ITALIA GOLDBET team so it will be teammate to haslam if it true

The factory BMW team are leaving WSB next year and Melandri has a 2 year deal with them so he will be in the goldbet team along with Spies if the rumors are indeed true.

That was some pole lap from Lorenzo, +0.2 at the first split and he just chipped away throughout the lap and did it

for sure we dont want tuned road bike engines, there not even world superbike spec engine, there detuned to last the season(only 12 engines) world super bikes has no limit so are a higher state of tune
they should stay in world superbike
