FIA World Endurance Championship - 6hrs of Silverstone is now starting.

it's on Motors TV in pretty dreadful quality, or you can use the Audi Liveracing stream and have it in 720p

The stream is only a second or so behind the TV broadcast and is higher quality. I think I'll be able to cope with the better quality stream.

Nice to see Lotus doing well.

Broken suspension on one car and a loose door on the other.

To me, that's just normal Lotus build quality.

Toyota switching one of their cars to an interesting tyre - a slick intermediate tyre.

Seems like it's a tyre designed to run on a drying track, where a normal wet or intermediate tyre would overheat and start to loose traction.

Dam, that's going to bug me now

Its going to be a smaller track as there isn't a large grandstand opposite the pits.

Think it's like Paul Ricard in that it has loads of layouts to suit different needs, so overhead that's probably why it looks a little odd.

Haha. Sorry to have been a pain. I just knew I didn't know the track and thought someone would.

I did think it was in Spain, don't know why I thought that, but I did.

Weather looked Spanish.
Googled Spanish Race Circuits.
Compared images of pit building to that on the video.

So Jean Toad is staying away from Bahrain to do a spot of "electioneering".

If it were me that would count against him getting voted in straight away, but I'm not sure whether those who do get to vote are so morally sound

the FIA are likely to vote him in BECAUSE of that unfortunately
